Cochlear Implants

If you want to expand communication options, or if hearing aids just aren't enough, the time might be right to explore a cochlear implant. The Nucleus Series of cochlear implants can help connect you to the world of sound.

This site has been developed for both candidates their families and existing recipients to support through real life experiences, as well as enabling you to talk to our cochlear implant volunteer advocates.

For unrestricted access to all content including back issues and expert advice within the CI site.
Bone conduction implants

Bone, like air, can conduct sound vibrations. By utilising the body's natural ability to conduct sound the Baha system provides another pathway for people with hearing loss, especially those with chronic ear infections and single sided deafness who cannot benefit from conventional hearing aids.

This site has been developed for both candidates their families and existing recipients to support through real life experiences, as well as enabling you to talk to our Baha volunteer advocates.

For unrestricted access to all content including back issues and expert advice within the Baha site.
